Responsibilities
• Preparing vacancy announcements• Screening applications to determine if they meet minimum requirements• Placing applicants in rank order on an inventory or register• Assisting staffing specialists• Performing a detailed review of records and documentation• Preparing summaries of information• Responding to inquiries concerning HR services• Identifying and resolving procedural issues• Processing documents required for appointment• Conducting HR Internet searches
Requirements
• Two years as an HR Generalist 2 or equivalent experience• Must be a US citizen and possess or be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance• Bachelor's degree or five years of administrative experience• Highly organized and excellent oral and written communication skills• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously• Knowledge of office policies, practices and procedures• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications• Solid Excel experience• Experience working with databases• Knowledge of basic accounting skills helpful
