Buyers Edge Platform is not just a provider – we are a strategic partner on the journey towards a more efficient, connected, and automated future for the foodservice industry.This position will be hybrid based out of either our Waltham, MA or Lake Worth, FL office: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Periodic travel 3-4x/year travel to another office location may be required. We are unable to provide sponsorship for work authorization for this role. Who are we looking for?We are looking to hire a motivatedHR Coordinatorto provide operational support to the People Team and work collaboratively to oversee and perform daily human resource functions. This role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing excellent internal employee support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.Your impact:Deliver an excellent people experience surrounding HR process optimization, services, retention, and employee programsMaintain and update employee records, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of HR databases and electronic filing systemsHRIS Administration including data entry and basic reporting as well as providing guidance to employees on effective use of the HRISOwn HR ticketing system in JIRACustomer Service and Responsiveness – Respond to inquiries (internal and external) within 24 hoursProcess employee changes, transfers, and terminationsComplete administrative duties for HR department, as neededQuality of Work – Double check work produced to ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and completenessMaintain accurate employee records and HR databases to ensure Act as a liaison between employees and HR functions, including benefits and payrollGenerate basic HR reports and censusesConfidentiality – Ensure all documents and conversations where sensitive information is involved is protected and secured at all timesSupport HR initiatives such as, annual open enrollment and performance management process and proceduresSupport regular audits of HR files and processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to policiesConduct adhoc HR projects and reportsContinuous Improvement - Consistently seek opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our work and services providedDemonstrate our Company values of Asking Tough Questions, Being Agile, Celebrating Differences, Delivering Solutions, and Enjoying Yourself.About you:Bachelor's degree in human resources or related degree, or relevant work experienceStrong initiative, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to work both as part of a team and independentlySolid organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailRelentless drive to improve efficiency for the team and all stakeholdersFlexible working style including ability to prioritize and adapt as unexpected projects arisePossess highly effective oral and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to handle confidential information in a professional mannerIntermediate Excel experience preferred Ability to be proactive, ask tough questions and think outside of the boxStrong decision-making and problem-solving skillsTeamwork and Collaboration - Demonstrating effective working relationships and communications with coworkers and colleaguesDon't meet every requirement mentioned here?
