Human Resources Coordinator Charlotte Pipe and Foundry , located in  Monroe, NC , is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator with a proven track record to join our team.
Charlotte Pipe and Foundry is a leading manufacturer of pipe and fittings. We are the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold® pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications. Position Description: The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to associates, assisting HR Managers with recruiting candidates to fill open roles, serving as the division's leave of absence coordinator, and providing assistance with payroll processing functions. This position has an active role in ensuring human resources functions comply with state and federal regulations.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Provide general and administrative support to the HR function including maintaining records and documents, generating reports and HRIS entry. Post job openings and manage the recruitment process by screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and evaluating candidates for positions. Maintain records and accurate data including applicant tracking logs. Consulting with HR managers to identify employment needs. Interview potential applicants regarding their skills, experience, and education. Inform applicants about position details including working conditions, schedule, benefits and duties. Initiate and track new hire processes such as assessments, background checks, drug screens and onboarding forms. Conduct and/or help with new hire orientation. Manage associate information and documents. Administer and manage all leaves of absence programs and processes (FMLA, Medical, Personal, STD and LTD). Assist the HR team and provide support in the administrative of engagement programs and initiatives. Education and Training Requirements: Bachelors' Degree preferred. Requires 2 years of experience in HR leave administration and recruiting/onboarding. Knowledge of federal and state leave laws, disability programs, and FMLA. Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain comprehensive records. Able to maintain confidential information, work independently and in team environment. HRCI or SHRM Certified Professional preferred.
