HR ASSISTANT – ANN ARBOR – IN-PERSON

Shar Music is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our growing HR team as an HR Assistant. Responsibilities
· Recruitment Support:
· Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
· Coordinate with hiring managers to arrange interviews and provide necessary logistical support.
· Assist with new hire onboarding procedures, including preparing paperwork and conducting orientation sessions.
· Employee Records Management:
· Assist in maintaining and updating employee records, both physical and electronic, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
· Assist in tracking and managing HR-related documents such as contracts agreements and performance evaluations.
· Benefits Administration:
· Support the benefits enrollment process for new hires and current employees.
· Direct employee inquiries regarding benefits, leave policies, and other HR-related matters to the HR Manager.
· Training and Development:
· Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees.
· Track training attendance and maintain training records.
· Support employee development initiatives as directed by the HR Manager.
· Employee Relations:
· Assist in organizing and supporting employee engagement initiatives, activities, and events.
· Build strong reports with varying departments and direct issues or concerns to the HR Manager.
· Assist with and collaborate on creation of the HR Newsletter and other all company announcements.
· Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
· Reporting and Analytics:
· Assist in generating HR reports as needed for management and HR team analysis.
· Collect and compile HR metrics and data for various HR initiatives.
· Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Demonstrated understanding of the importance of confidentiality and ethical conduct.
· Ability to tackle challenges with a positive and proactive attitude.
· Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize time in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
· A team player with a willingness to learn and grow in the HR field.
· Passion for music is a plus!
