Responsibilities
• Perform preventive maintenance on major mechanical and life safety equipment• Respond to service requests and conduct life safety inspections• Act as a technical resource for repair and maintenance procedures• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies• Document daily activities, problems, and recommendations• Conduct emergency work on HVAC, kitchen, laundry, or water systems outages• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries• Assist in training, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees• Ensure clean and professional appearance, protect company assets• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, adhere to quality standards
Requirements
• EPA 608 Certified• Ability to drive to properties within the assigned area• Knowledge of corrective, preventative, and routine repair and maintenance procedures• Experience with HVAC/refrigeration, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, electrical systems, boilers and hot water systems, and life safety systems• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds• Ability to assist with moving objects weighing over 100 pounds• Basic computer skills• Ability to speak clear and professional language• Ability to work full-time
