Join us for an incredible opportunity to help lead our Event Setup Team as our Event Setup Supervisor! The Event SetupSupervisor will support "A Seattle Collective", a multi-property cluster comprised of Hyatt at Olive 8 and Hyatt Regency Seattle.
TheEvent Setup Supervisorwill workclosely with the leaders of the Event Services (Banquets) & Setup team, to set up an outstanding experience for our guests and Meeting Planners. This Supervisor willreport to the Event Setup and Assistant Event Setupmanagers, and will supervise the set-up of the rooms for meetings and banquets. The Event Setup Supervisor will ensure equipment is in working order and properly maintained, and that the Event Setup Team has the tools and resources to be successful. The hourly rate for this position is $19.97. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who remain in the position for four years, which is $20.37/hour.
A Taxable 25% service charge and applicable taxes shall be added to all food and beverage. 16.5 percent (%) of which is to go to the service team - approximately 14% goes to the banquet team (for example servers, bartenders and captains) and 2.5% goes to the Convention Services (for example set up) team. A taxable 25% service charge and applicable taxes shall be added to all meeting room rental charges - 10 percent (%) of which is to go to set-up personnel (convention services). For internal events, there is still a service charge added on to the event, which is 15%. Of this 15%, 85% of that goes to the banquet team and 15% goes to the CS team, which would equal 12.75% to banquetsand 2.25% to Convention Services team.
An additional $2.00/hour will be earned for shifts worked that are designated as "overnight" shifts.
