Our guests get to start their morning at Eques, the hotel's award-winning restaurant and one of the best breakfast places in Bellevue. Guests can join us on the weekends for brunch to enjoy a Pacific Northwest-themed menu and create their own bloody Mary cocktail. With more than 50 Seattle Eastside restaurants in The Bellevue Collection, our guests will find everything from grab-and-go to upscale steakhouses with views of Mt. Rainier and Lake Washington all connected via skybridge to our hotel.
An intermediate line cookrequires good communication and culinary skills. The desired cook candidate will have hotel cooking experience and a culinary degree. An intermediate cook should have a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures. Intermediate cook will work single stations in the kitchen and require significant supervision and training.
The Breakfast Line Cook plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of the breakfast service in a restaurant or kitchen setting. This position involves preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes, adhering to established recipes and quality standards. The Breakfast Line Cook is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workstation, collaborating with kitchen staff, and delivering timely and delicious breakfast items to guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a diverse range of breakfast dishes, including but not limited to eggs, pancakes, waffles, omelets, and breakfast meats. Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency in taste and presentation. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and meet quality standards. Cooking and Grilling: Operate cooking equipment such as grills, stoves, and ovens to cook and bake breakfast items. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality. Adjust cooking techniques based on customer preferences. This is an hourly position with a compensation of$24 per hour. Qualifications Requires good communication skills. 2 years of previous line experience is preferred. A culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred. Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills. Able to work multiple stations in the kitchen. Requires moderate supervision and training.
