Responsibilities
• Conduct case management meetings and document housing plans and mental health symptoms• Assist program participants with health concerns• Maintain documentation and data collection• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively• Attend meetings and trainings• Report program and client needs• Facilitate household disputes and provide counseling• Manage medical appointments and issues• Perform facility maintenance duties• Supervise resident chores and oversee cleanliness of food storage areas
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, or relevant field preferred• 3+ years' experience working with under-resourced, low-income populations• Experience with homelessness desired• Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and symptomology• Working knowledge of Social Security income and life skills• Strong knowledge of harm reduction and mental health issues• Data system entry experience• Competency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite software• Ability to work well with a team and independently• Ability to maintain boundaries, ask questions, and receive suggestions• Ability to sit, use a computer, stoop, crouch, kneel, or crawl• Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills• Dynamic, resourceful, flexible, kind, compassionate, understanding• Comfortable working in a culturally and ethnically diverse environment
