Responsibilities
• Maintain positive guest relations and resolve complaints• Communicate effectively with guests and team members• Maintain knowledge of hotel features and services• Clean guest rooms within 26 minutes according to standards• Stock and maintain housekeeping carts• Clean pool areas, ice and soda machines, and hallways• Remove dirty linen and handle lost and found items• Provide assistance to co-workers and guests• Notify supervisor of any guest complaints or emergencies• Follow department, management, and hotel policies
Requirements
• High School Graduate or GED equivalent• 1-2 years of experience in hospitality industry preferred• Previous guest/customer relations training preferred• Good understanding of English• Good communication skills, both written and verbal• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds• Ability to exert physical effort and stand for up to 8 hours• Willingness to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and equipment• Knowledge of proper chemical handling
