Job Title: Room AttendantReports To: Head HousekeeperFLSA Status: Non-ExemptSummary: The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring the guest rooms are completely serviced at hotel standards for future guests. This includes clean rooms and washed linens on a daily basis to ensure guest satisfaction.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Services guest rooms in 26 minutes or less according to the hotel standardsCleans floors, walls, and all other surfaces using specified chemicals and equipment and specifiedWashes linens, makes beds and re arranges furniture; daily.Operates the vacuum in all guest rooms that are cleanedDusts and cleans all furniture and fixturesRecords room status on daily room attendant sheetEnsures guest supplies are maintainedEmpties and cleans all garbage cansCleans and maintains all equipment and productsReport any items in need of repair or replacement to the Head House KeeperCleans and inspects public spaces dailyMaintains an accurate inventory of linen, terry, room supplies, and cleaning suppliesEffectively communicates the status of rooms to the front desk staffEnsures carts are clean, organized, and restocked for the next dayCompletes laundry shifts as neededPerforms all other duties as may be assignedCompetencies:Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional client and employee situations; Responds promptly to client and employee needs; Solicits client feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meet commitments.Safety - The employee is safety conscious about the work environment and equipment.
