Job Summary:SpringHill Suites Cheraw is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join our dedicated and hardworking team in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel's guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a passion for providing exceptional hospitality services. This individual will report to the Housekeeping Manager and will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.Compensation & Benefits:This is a part-time hourly position with a competitive salary of $11 to $12 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition to this, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, and employee discounts at our hotel and other sister properties.Responsibilities:Clean and restock hotel guest rooms and suites in accordance with established standards and checklistsChange linens, make beds, wash and fold towels and other linens, and vacuum carpets and rugsDust and polish furniture, fixtures, and decorative items in guest rooms and public areasClean and disinfect bathroom fixtures and replenish bathroom suppliesReport any maintenance or repair issues to the Housekeeping ManagerCollaborate with other housekeeping team members to ensure efficient completion of tasksMaintain confidentiality and security of guests' personal information and belongingsFollow all safety and sanitation protocols to prevent accidents and promote overall cleanliness and hygieneHandle guests' requests for additional items such as extra towels or pillows in a timely and friendly mannerAssist with laundry and other housekeeping tasks as neededRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalentPrior experience in housekeeping or general cleaning is preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent time management and organizational skillsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writingBasic knowledge of cleaning products and equipmentPhysically capable of standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods of timeMust be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidaysEEOC Statement:SpringHill Suites Cheraw is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
