Responsibilities
• Maintaining effective working relationships with physicians, health professional affiliates, patient's families, and nursing staff• Coordinating and supervising services on assigned units to achieve a comfortable and positive patient care atmosphere• Performing regular rounding on nursing units, checking on patients and assisting in assessments and care planning• Creating a team atmosphere that enhances quality of care and experience for patients• Facilitating communication between nurses, providers, and responsible parties• Responding to emergencies and ensuring proper measures are conducted• Ensuring proper staffing needs are met on all assigned units
Requirements
• Valid Registered Nurse License with the State of Missouri or qualified compact license• Valid CPR and able to become certified in SAMA within 30 days of start date• Two years of inpatient mental health working experience preferred• One year of supervisory experience preferred
