SOME (So Others Might Eat) exists to help homeless and poor individuals and families in Washington, DC. Our more than 30 programs throughout the district provide comprehensive services that lead to mental and physical health, continued sobriety, job training, living-wage employment, and affordable housing. We meet immediate needs with food, clothing, and healthcare and offer the tools one needs to live with hope, dignity, and greater independence. Program Overview: SOME (So Others Might Eat) is currently seeking a full-time House Manager for Exodus House in West Virginia.
Position Description: The House Manager oversees the residential facility and clients during overnight hours. The House Manager also provides support and assistance to clients, as needed.
Required: HS Degree/GED; 1-3 yrs experience in social services; experience providing services in addictions or mental health treatment
Preferred: Associates Degree; 3-5 yrs experience in social services; experience providing services in addictions or mental health
Required License/Certification: CPR/First Aid; AED; Food Handler's License; Crisis Intervention (Training); Driver's License
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday; 12:00 am - 8:00 am (40 hours/week)

Perform room inspections nightly and in the morning. Provide assistance to residents for daily living activities. Perform administrative duties including copying, scanning, and filing as needed.
