Responsibilities
• Assist Rooms Manager with in-house projects, event set-ups, and preventative maintenance• Set-up and tear down banquet event tables, chairs, and A/V equipment• Assist with hotel projects such as repairs, remodels, carpet and floor care, and painting• Responsible for cleanliness and organization of banquet halls, storage, and service areas• Assist with student room flips and support Engineering department as needed• Perform custodial work within the context of assigned repairs• Maintain communication and collaboration with staff for high levels of cooperation and service excellence• Properly maintain work equipment, tools, and supplies• Respond to guest requests and inquiries with sensitivity and immediacy• Comply with department, hotel, and company policies and procedures
Requirements
• Ability to effectively read, write, and speak English• Friendly, reliable, enthusiastic, obliging, and compassionate• Skills in organization, planning, problem solving, and communication• Proper grooming, dress, poise, and social etiquette• Ability to work independently or with others• Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and passion for serving others• Previous banquet event set-up experience preferred• Open availability required including weekends
