Job Description:
As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for greeting them with a warm and friendly demeanor. You will manage reservations, seat guests, and oversee the flow of the dining room, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all.
Responsibilities:
Warmly greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant. Assist with taking reservations and managing the reservation book. Escort guests to their tables, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about any specials or promotions. Manage the waitlist during busy periods and provide accurate wait time estimates. Collaborate with the server team to coordinate seating arrangements and maintain a smooth flow of service. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and special accommodations. Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station. Thank guests as they depart and invite them to return. Assist with general restaurant tasks as needed. Qualifications:
Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills. Strong customer service orientation and a desire to create positive guest experiences. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and composure. Professional appearance and demeanor. Knowledge of restaurant reservation systems is a plus. Prior experience in a host/hostess role or similar customer-facing position is preferred but not required. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
