Learn more about Interlachen and culture by visiting us at workaticc.org Responsibilities and Expectations: Deliver first-class service to our members Support team members and managers with premium guest services Engage every member who approaches the host stand, with a friendly smile and offer to assist Make each and every member feel welcomed and "at home" Provide friendly yet discreet and unobtrusive service in greeting, processing waitlist requests, and seating all members Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage offerings including ingredients, methods of preparation and proper service; be able to explain all food and beverage items listed on the menu Assist with daily setup and breakdown of the dining area, and midday re-sets as needed Answer member questions with regards to food and beverage Ensure the dining area and overall club environment is presentable throughout the course of the day Assist management to ensure the consistent integrity of the physical facility where food & beverages are served and stored Monitor hospitality areas to ensure they are kept clean, safe and code compliant. Communicate with Manager any issues and assist as needed. Complete any additional tasks as assigned by F&B Director or managers Attend and participate at all scheduled meetings and trainings Participate in teamwork and foster harmonious working climate Provide feedback on guest comments or complaints to the management Ideal Qualifications and Attributes: Education & Experience High School Diploma or GE Host and club experience is a plus, but not required Experience with restaurant POS system is a plus Must be 16 years or older Attributes Presentable - Able to put your best foot forward and present yourself in a clean and professional way to our members Strong Communication Skills - Able to assess needs and desires by communicating with our members and team Team Player - Work closely with Food and Beverage department leaders and fellow team members to meet goals Genuine - Possess a passion for delivering top-notch service and find everyday enjoyment Fast-Paced - Able to manage multiple tasks at once of differing needs Physical Requirements Ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time Availability This position is available for part-time individuals. Candidates must be willing to have flexible schedules and willing to work weekdays, weekends and some holidays. Shifts will differ from 4-8 hours.
