Hospital Intern

Every member of the Legacy community fulfills a role in our mission of making life better for others. As a Hospital Intern, you will work under the direction of the hospital president on a variety of projects and activities. You'll build relationships and grow in expertise, supported by our caring community.
The Hospital Intern works under the direction of the President of the assigned hospital for overall guidance on a variety of projects and activities. The goal of the intern program is to provide learning opportunities to the intern through involvement in and exposure to a broad spectrum or hospital and system-wide activities.
EDUCATION: Recent graduate or current enrollment at an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or graduate degree (MHA or MBA) with a Junior or Senior standing. SKILLS: Ability to commit to entire 10 to 12-week internship, up to 40 hours per week. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to take initiative and be self-directed. Ability to work independently and in collaboration with teams. Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and can meet project milestones and deadlines.
