Job descriptionJob Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Nurse to join our team. The Hospice Nurse will provide end-of-life care and support to patients and their families in a hospice setting.Duties:Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plansAdminister medications and treatments as prescribedMonitor patient vital signs and symptomsProvide emotional support and comfort to patients and familiesCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic careEducate patients and families on end-of-life care optionsMaintain accurate patient records and documentationRequirements:Valid RN license in the state of practicePrevious experience in hospice or palliative care preferredKnowledge of Athenahealth or similar electronic medical record systemsFamiliarity with medical office standards and proceduresUnderstanding of behavioral health principlesExperience in utilization management and occupational healthProficiency in airway management techniquesAbility to work in high-stress environments such as ICU settingsSkilled in administering injectionsJoining our team as a Hospice Nurse offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives during their end-of-life journey.
