We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hospice Administrator with a focus on geriatrics, hospice, and palliative care to join our primary care team. As a Hospice Administrator with Ovation, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing our hospice program. You will oversee the daily operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Your expertise in hospice administration, coupled with your leadership skills, will contribute to the success and growth of our organization.What we offer:$100,000 - $180,000 annual base salary, plus incentives and bonus structureFull benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan and Paid Time OffA supportive and collaborative work environment that values professional growth and development.Responsibilities:Provide strategic direction and leadership to the hospice team, ensuring the highest standards of care are metOversee and manage all aspects of the hospice program, including clinical operations, financial management, and regulatory complianceDevelop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of servicesCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and review patient care plansRecruit, train, and supervise staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environmentMonitor and evaluate program outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changesFoster strong relationships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the organization's mission and enhance referral networksEnsure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standardsPrepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecastsStay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging research to drive continuous improvementQualifications:Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 4 years of experience in hospice administration or a similar roleStrong knowledge of hospice regulations, compliance requirements, and accreditation standardsDemonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a teamExcellent organizational and problem-solving abilitiesExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholdersProficiency in financial management, budgeting, and reportingCompassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to providing quality end-of-life care
