Are you a problem-solver with a knack for working with computers? Do you excel at interacting with others to help them resolve their PC issues?

We'd like to welcome a Help Desk Coordinator I responsible to serve as the initial point of contact for help desk calls relating to PC software and hardware issues. Documents and assigns problems using Help Desk problem logging software program. Another primary function is to set up and take down computers for training sessions, meetings, new and relocating employees.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITES
Serves as primary point of contact for Help Desk inquiries & requests. Help calls will involve problems with Datasafe software & hardware, and PC software and hardware, including printers. Resolving these calls may involve traveling to branch offices.
Maintains and updates Help Desk documentation and procedures.
Distributes help requests to other Information Systems department personnel as needed to complete help calls.
Performs Datasafe Operations tasks, such as ACH edits and posts, FICS mortgage system processing, and ACH origination file processing.
Helps with afterhours month-end processing every other month.
Assures that successful help deployments are properly documented for future reference.
Refers to Datasafe software documentation as needed to acquire the necessary information to successfully complete help calls.
Maintains a copy of most frequently needed Datasafe software documentation as a reference resource.
Interfaces with Datasafe and other providers as needed to facilitate the resolution of help requests.
Edits recorded calls & solutions in Help Desk software as needed to maintain a relevant and accurate help resource.
Assists with repairing equipment, either in-house or coordinating with outside repair facilities.
Assists with equipment inventory if necessary, using computer-based inventory system.
Coachable and willing to learn.
This position is a full-time position. Shift alternates every other week: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday 9:00 am-6:00pm. Some Saturdays required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES Two (2) year college degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum two years PC experience; minimum one year credit union experience preferred.
Must have a willingness to learn.
Good communications skills, verbal and written.
Good analysis skills.

PAY RANGE

In accordance with California's Pay Transparency Act (SB 1162), the expected salary range for this position is between:

$20.00 - $22.00

Actual pay will be determined based on a candidate's specific qualifications, including their knowledge, skills, education and experience, internal equity consideration, as well as other job-related factors permitted by law.

Note: As part of our screening process, LBS Financial conducts background investigations on candidates who are extended an offer and who agree and authorize us to do so. This investigation will include a credit report, criminal records search, Social Security search, governmental registries search, and employment and educational verifications. Additionally, candidates must be eligible to be bonded through a fidelity bond to cover employee loss and risk.
