Description:
One of my reputable clients in the Detroit market is looking for a highly skilled Heavy Civil Underground Foreman with extensive experience in Wet Utilities, including sanitary sewer, water mains, and stormwater systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and supervising crews, ensuring project deadlines are met, and maintaining a high standard of safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee and coordinate all aspects of wet utility projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
* Supervise and manage on-site crews, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.
* Interpret and implement project plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure work is completed according to requirements.
* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, clients, and stakeholders to address any issues or concerns.
* Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, equipment, and other project-related documentation.
* Enforce safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
* Provide training and mentorship to crew members to promote skill development and career advancement.
