Job Summary: Bell Ford is looking for (2) Heavy Line Service Technicians with experience to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong heavy service technician background and ASE certified. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done.Compensation: $25 - $27/ flat rate hour DOE. Average 120 hours per pay periodHours: Full time Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm rotating SaturdayBenefits:Medical and Dental Insurance401k + MatchCareer Growth OpportunitiesEmployee DiscountResponsibilities:Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealershipTest-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairsExecute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsPrice and order partsOverhaul engines, transmission, diesel engine repair,Air brakes, A/C, Underbody and electrical diagnosing,Ensure vehicle is repaired correctly the first time.Qualifications:2+ years of Heavy Line Technician experience at a Dealership preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification requiredB level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine RepairDexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordinationMechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentExcellent customer service skills and basic computer competenciesPositive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improveEnjoy working in a dynamic environmentTeammate with ability to collaborate with others effectivelyAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsValid AZ driver's license and good driving recordMust be able to pass pre employment background check and drug screen (not including THC)About Us: The Berge Automotive Group is a well-respected, family-owned auto dealership group in the metro Phoenix and surrounding markets that has been selling and servicing vehicles for over five decades!
