Utilize extensive technical experience as a shop mechanic specializing in hydraulics, machinery, and boom trucks, including truck-mounted aerial platforms. Diagnose faults using computerized testing equipment, and effectively troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Adjust equipment and replace faulty parts with precision and efficiency. Repair damaged equipment parts, ensuring optimal functionality and safety. Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty vehicles to maintain peak performance and longevity. Cleaning and servicing machine attachments like winches, and side booms to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Effectively communicate information to Terex team members as necessary. Represent the company at trade shows, organizing business development initiatives and educational activities. Demonstrate a basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and apply them in interactions with customers and colleagues. Fulfill or surpass training requirements for self-development throughout the year. Undertake any additional duties assigned that align with the overall objectives of the role. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Possession of a basic set of mechanical tools (Socket wrench set, Adjustable wrench, Hydraulic press, Air compressor and pneumatic tools, Diagnostic equipment/software ) Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a shop mechanic with a focus on hydraulics, machinery, and boom trucks. Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks and drug screenings. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 5+ years of experience in a similar field. Electric over Hydraulic experience a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with utility-type equipment. Fluid Power Society certification or relevant experience/knowledge. Extensive familiarity with Terex Products, such as Hi-Ranger, Genie products, or similar brands. Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, safety-focused workplace. Capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency or Diagnostic software experience such as ( INSITE Engine Diagnostic ) Work Environment Considerations: Ability to stand on concrete 8+ hours per shift Able to climb ladders and over and under vehicles. Tolerable to height Salary: The compensation range for this position is $25-$28 hourly. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
