Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Heavy Duty Truck Sales Lead to lead our SAUK RAPIDS, MN sales team in driving revenue growth and market share in the heavy-duty truck segment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales management, a deep understanding of the heavy-duty truck market, and excellent leadership skills.
Responsibilities: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of heavy-duty truck sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between sales, marketing, and customer service. Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats. Conduct regular market analysis to understand customer needs and preferences, and adjust sales strategies accordingly. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, dealers, and industry stakeholders. Work closely with the customer service team to address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly. Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills and product knowledge. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the sales department. Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure the effectiveness of sales initiatives. Regularly review sales performance data and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the automotive or transportation industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of heavy-duty truck specifications, features, and industry regulations. ABOUT GATR TRUCK CENTER GATR Truck Center is an authorized Volvo truck, Hino truck, Mack truck, and Kalmar Ottawa dealership serving 5 locations in Minnesota and Iowa. We are an authorized Hyundai Translead Dry Van Trailer dealer as well. We are proud to carry a large selection of new and pre-owned inventory.
