What to expect
As a Heat Pump Sales Engineer, you'll guide customers in selecting the perfect heat pump for their homes, emphasizing their needs over sales targets. This role requires understanding their current systems to recommend suitable configurations and provide accurate estimates. To answer customer queries, you'll gain a good grasp of heat pump principles, duct systems, and thermostats. Customer interaction mainly occurs through remote communication, with occasional site visits and time with our installations teams for hands-on experience development. This position combines customer service with technical knowledge, ensuring a seamless experience for both the customer and the company.
What you'll do?
Develop and manage a project pipeline heat pump installation customers.
Lead the sales cycle, including client outreach, need assessment, and closing the customers with some after-sales service to ensure customers' needs are met.
Prepared and presented high-quality, accurate proposals and quotes to customers, addressing complex needs and custom requirements.
Contribute to the team's efforts in market analysis, strategy development, and policy advocacy related to heat pump and home energy-related technologies.
What You'll Bring:
3-5 years of experience in sales and/or engineering roles.
Proven experience in sales, business development, or technical advisory roles within the HVAC, building services, or solar and battery energy sectors.
Eagerness to understand heat pump systems and their application.
Strong skills in customer relationship management.
Excellent analytical abilities for evaluating the potential options for the homeowners.
Outstanding communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical concepts to a varied audience.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Willingness to travel as required to meet business objectives.
