Position Summary The Healthcare Staffing Intern will collaborate with various internal employees to help place clinicians on assignments with clients. Responsibilities include communicating via phone call, text, and email with applicants and client contacts, maintaining information and making updates to ATS and CRM, and providing high-quality customer service support.
A successful candidate should be able to keep up with a high volume of incoming phone calls, texts, and emails, take a proactive approach, maintain a high level of detail and accuracy, and de-escalate customer issues as needed.

Responsibilities Assist with the identification and onboarding of clinical staff Interact with candidates to discuss their skill set and branch offices to determine their needs for clinical staff for client facilities Fulfill staffing vacancies in real-time to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts Gather and maintain employee availability for scheduling purposes Keep accurate schedules of employees and their assigned shifts Log employee communication and activity in our Applicant Tracking System and other internal databases Collect and input clinical employee timesheets as needed Assist with weekly payroll processing Work on projects to expand market share in existing markets and expand in new areas Assist with maintaining accurate and timely updating of client job openings Assist with after-hours calls for the scheduling of employees to fill client job needs Manage and resolve client situations in an effective manner Contact existing, and active customers through multiple channels such as telephone and email to develop business Maintain pool of working employees in assignments while coordinating retention efforts and extension of assignments Provides immediate front-line customer service to management team, associates and client Other duties and projects as assigned Job Skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with all levels of management and staff Must display a professional approach to communication and teamwork, as there is a high degree of interaction with various levels of employees, clients, visitors and outside consultants Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office as well as applicant tracking software and social media tools such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter Ability to establish and achieve goals, prioritize and perform multiple functions and tasks Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills Excellent customer service skills Strong organizational skills and positive attitude Demonstrates sense of urgency in completing assignments Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a non-exempt, hourly position paying $20/hour on-site at our Northville, Michigan office. Full-time hours are required. The office is open from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. The internship is for Summer 2024; documentation for coursework or academic credit may be provided upon request.
Educational/Vocational Requirements Working towards a Bachelor's Degree is preferred
