Responsibilities
• Oversee daily operations of virtual medical office• Manage and assist in office staff• Manage and assist in credentialing clinical providers• Develop and implement office policies and procedures• Monitor and manage office budget• Coordinate with healthcare providers to schedule patient appointments• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records• Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns• Collaborate with insurance companies to verify coverage and process claims• Ensure office is stocked with necessary supplies and equipment
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in public health, healthcare administration, healthcare management, social work, or communication• Proven experience in healthcare, preferably in ambulatory or outpatient setting (5 years)• In-depth knowledge of medical administrative support functions and procedures• Proficient in practice management software such as eClinical Works• Strong leadership skills• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills• Knowledge of budgeting principles and financial management in a medical setting
