Healthcare Call Center Representative

Are you passionate about helping others navigate the complexities of healthcare? We're seeking a dedicated Healthcare Call Center Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll be the friendly voice on the other end of the line, assisting members, providers, and plan sponsors with their inquiries and concerns. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Providing prompt and empathetic assistance to callers, addressing their questions and resolving issues with professionalism and efficiency.
Documenting and tracking all interactions to ensure accurate follow-up and resolution.
Guiding members through their benefits, policies, and procedures, while also connecting them with the resources they need for optimal health outcomes.
Building trust and rapport with members to create a supportive and caring environment.
Anticipating and addressing customer needs proactively to enhance their experience.
Educating both members and providers on self-service options and assisting with credentialing and recredentialing matters.
Collaborating with internal teams to handle claim referrals, complaints, appeals, and other inquiries effectively.
Contributing to the preparation of reports and audits to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Healthcare Call Center Representative Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a call center or retail setting, demonstrating empathy and compassion.
Comfortable working in a production-focused environment with a strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with healthcare terminology and processes is a plus.
