Responsibilities
• Ensure emotional, physical, psychological, and safety needs of residents are met• Manage medication administration, staff coordination & training, infection control• Apply nursing process to the care of seniors• Lead the clinical team with a sense of purpose and accountability• Identify ongoing needs and services of residents through assessment and service plans• Visit prospective/current residents for admission/readmission assessment• Be the clinical liaison with families, residents, healthcare professionals, and team members• Direct infection control measures• Utilize an EHR system for documentation, medication management, and quality initiatives• Manage labor costs, supplies, and clinical budget• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations• Collect, analyze, and report occurrence trends• Coordinate staff training programs and in-services• Manage and coordinate the work of the clinical staff• Provide 24/7 on-call clinical support
Requirements
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN license with leadership experience• Proven clinical leader in assisted living or LTC environment• Understanding importance of state survey readiness• Strong communication skills, both oral and written• Ability to multitask and reprioritize throughout the day• Current driver's license
