JOIN OUR TEAM JOB SUMMARY Wayne County's Health, Human, and Veterans Services Department (HHVS) seeks motivated, dedicated interns to join our Health Fellows Internship. This program offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of health and human services and positively impact our community's health. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, the intern will contribute to real-world projects and initiatives. The internship is eight (8) weeks and will begin June 3, and end July 31, 2024. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education:
Actively enrolled in an undergraduate program or graduate program in public health, public health administration, healthcare or healthcare administration, public policy, social work, or a related field. Experience:
Strong interest in health and human services and a desire to make a difference in the community. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new challenges.
