Head Of Talent Acquisition

Head Of Talent Acquisition
Company:

Unlock Technologies, Inc.

Details of the offer

Unlock's mission is to unleash the power of home equity to enrich people's lives. We do this through a financial solution called a Home Equity Agreement or HEA, an entirely new way to access and utilize home equity. We're not a lender, so there are no interest charges or monthly payments and homeowners with poor credit or high levels of debt can still qualify. We're beyond passionate about helping our customers build greater financial resiliency. We are mission driven, consumer centric and our products are designed for the way homeowners want to live their lives today - with flexibility and control.
About the role

We're looking for a passionate, highly-skilled, and experienced Head of Talent Acquisition to join our team at Unlock! If you're someone who gets excited about start-ups: the ability to be creative, putting your stamp on something, growing a meaningful business and having a great time doing it, please take a look at this amazing opportunity.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Head of Talent Acquisition will lead and manage the design, development, and implementation of a new talent acquisition strategy, along with the required policies, tools, and processes to ensure that Unlock secures the best available talent. This leader will be a recognized subject matter expert in all phases of talent acquisition, ensuring Unlock is optimally positioned to lead the industry. They will develop strong partnerships with leaders and other People Ops team members to effectively influence, garner support for change, and drive strategic and progressive programs and initiatives.
I'm looking for a hands-on, player-coach TA Leader who can build from the ground up while also working strategically. The ideal candidate will be well-rounded in all facets of TA and components of Talent Management, including Executive Recruiting, Staff, Technical and Corporate Recruiting, Greenhouse ATS, and Succession and Workforce Planning. You should be able to "fly high, swoop low," getting your hands dirty in day-to-day operations and then lifting up to build comprehensive and competitive strategies that will elevate our company to the next level.
This role requires you to be a true self-starter who can work collaboratively with the CPO to identify opportunities to build the TA function (and the division) from scratch. This position will likely supervise other HR/TA professionals at some point, but today it is an IC role working closely with the CPO and Sr. Manager, People Ops as a three-person department. The TA function, as it stands today, is a blank canvas waiting for the right leader to shape it.
This could be the perfect role for an accomplished TA leader with a proven track record in sourcing, branding, recruitment marketing, and optimizing ATS platforms. It is ideal for a TA Director or Sr. Manager ready to lead at the highest level, supporting leaders across the enterprise and the executive team. This individual will be essential in helping us build out our entire People Ops function for the organization. This position requires getting and keeping your hands dirty in all things TA/HR and not being afraid to fail! We value prototype thinking and the willingness to try new things until we get it right.
We are currently 100% remote and will be establishing our new HQ in the Tempe Town Lake area, where we plan to meet as a team on a monthly or as-needed basis. We are prioritizing Phoenix-area local candidates at this time.
I look forward to hearing from those of you who are interested. Unlock's an amazing place to be!

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.
Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp .
