Data & Analytics Job Description: The Treasury and Balance Sheet Management (TBSM) department of TD Bank is responsible for overseeing the management of TD Bank's non-trading market risk, consolidated liquidity risk and consolidated capital position. The US Treasury team focus on the US Retail segment (TD Bank America's Most Convenient Bank) and the US legal entities.
The Balance Sheet Reporting and Analytics (BSRA) team is a centralized function in the US Treasury team responsible for completing all reporting and analytics relating to Non-Trading Market Risk (NTMR) and Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) for the US P&C business and US legal entities. This newly created team will be accountable for ensuring the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all reporting. As a centralized function in TBSM, the team is responsible for providing insights on the US Segment reporting and NIM results and Non-Trading Market Risk Positions.
Depth & Scope: Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork, and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required Leads and develops a team of finance/risk professionals to ensure best-in-class reporting of the Non-Trading Market Risk and Funds Transfer Pricing for the US Retail Segment and US Legal entities Provides Treasury oversight over Non-Trading Market Risk – including interest rate risk and foreign exchange risk and FTP through effective analysis of the FTP framework Ensures accuracy, completeness and timeliness reporting to our Finance partners, Product Partners, Risk Management, Board, Financial Disclosures and Regulators Supports the NII forecasting of US retail segment and US legal entities and associated NII and NIM reporting Produces insightful and actionable deep-dives, largely to support US Treasury's business-advisory service Ensures appropriate controls & governance are in place for all reporting produced Supports US ALCO with expertise on Non Trading Market risk & FTP and compiles artifacts as appropriate to manage emerging risks Provides active engagement to task forces and committees as needed Partners with the enterprise TBSM team, including the enterprise Balance Sheet Measurement and Analytics team, to leverage enterprise processes, standards, capabilities and systems in reporting processes Develops relationships with stakeholders across the bank, including other Finance functions, 2nd line and 3rd line risk functions Fosters a positive and rewarding working environment through R&R programs, employee engagement and continuous learning Who We Are:
