Triplebar is seeking a seasoned Head of Pipeline Operations to lead our rapidly expanding pipeline across multiple product verticals. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing the entire screening pipeline team, ensuring seamless coordination from material inputs through to benchtop fermentation. Our ideal candidate will have a robust background in pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, or medical device manufacturing, with a demonstrated expertise in high-throughput screening and a commitment to operational excellence.The Role:Leadership & ManagementLead the screening pipeline team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Hire, train, and mentor team members to achieve outstanding results.Strategy & PlanningDevelop and implement strategies for scheduling screening campaigns, optimizing workflow and throughput across all stages of the pipeline.Operational ExcellenceUtilize lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve platform performance.Technical ExpertiseMaintain a deep understanding of screening statistics, microfluidics technology, 96-well plate validation, and benchtop fermentation processes. Ensure the integration and optimization of these technologies within the screening pipeline.Quality & Data IntegrityEnsure the highest standards of data quality and integrity throughout the screening process. Coordinate closely with the data science team to implement robust quality control measures.Collaboration & FeedbackFacilitate constant bidirectional feedback between the screening operations team and other departments to ensure the relevance and accuracy of the screening pipeline across testing scales.Innovation & ImprovementLead the identification and implementation of innovative technologies and processes to enhance the screening platform. Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase throughput.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline; a Master's degree or PhD is preferredMinimum of 10 years of experience in high-throughput screening operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or medical device manufacturing sectorsProven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a multidisciplinary teamStrong understanding of screening methodologies, and benchtop fermentation processesDemonstrated experience in applying lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies to operational processesExcellent analytical skills, with a deep understanding of screening statistics and data analysisExceptional organizational and project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex schedules and campaignsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partnersThe annual base pay range for this position is anticipated to be $175,000 - $210,000 however the base pay offered may vary depending on location, market, job related knowledge, skills and experience.
