15 - 25% Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as the Head of Strategic Growth Initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Executive Vice President of Platforms and the Senior Vice President of Growth to develop business segment-specific strategic opportunities for Worldpay For Platforms and drive them through execution to achieve differentiated outcomes. You will define, adapt, and execute strategies that foster growth and innovation, while ensuring alignment across all functions of the organization. A successful candidate will be able to identify and prioritize the most impactful opportunities, define strategic approaches to capture benefits, and align cross functional teams to execute. You will lead a team that aligned to each business segment to ensure cross functional alignment and ongoing prioritization, execution, and adaptation. You will develop the team and ensure they have the knowledge, skills, and access to resources to execute against the prioritized strategic initiatives.
You will be the critical voice that keeps our teams focused on the most important short-term objectives while laying the groundwork for the medium-term growth priorities required to drive market leadership within each segment.
Key Responsibilities Partner with Worldpay For Platforms leadership to develop, refine, and prioritize strategic growth initiatives Develop short- and medium- term strategies that align to the overall business strategy and which drive revenue and EBITDA growth Work collaboratively with leaders across all departments to drive execution of identified initiatives Maintain ongoing alignment of key priorities while identifying new opportunities and key risks – develop plans to ensure risks are mitigated Ensure voice of customer is represented in planning exercises and LOB needs are accurately included in product planning and prioritization Take ownership of the execution of strategic plans, monitoring progress, and making adjustments as necessary to ensure objectives are met Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, accountability, and a strong bias for action Requirements Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or related roles, with a proven track record of driving growth initiatives. Background in merchant acquiring, software led payments, or adjacent payment experience strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop innovative approaches to address business challenges and capitalize on opportunities Deep understanding of the industry landscape, market trends, and competitive dynamics Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - ability to clearly articulate business issues and recommend / synthesize solutions Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously Self-starter, motivated by achieving measuring and goals within the team setting. Strong desire to make the entire team successful Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred 15-25% percent travel domestically
FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $212,690.00 - $357,330.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
