Head of Children's Services
We are recruiting now for a Head of Children's Service to join us at an exciting time of growth for the organisation.
Currently overseeing seven children's homes, but rising to 10 over the coming months, this is exciting time to join Kisimul as we look to increase our offering to more young people in need of our specialist care, education and therapeutic support.

What will I be doing?
As Head of Children's Services, you are accountable for leading the Children's division of the organisation and providing high quality, person-centred care to the young people we support.
You will also be a
ccountable for the delivery of the divisional plan to ensure that our homes are suitable environments for people to flourish supported by values led and experienced teams.
You will need to be able to communicate
at all levels to help drive engagement and to ensure all team members understand how they uniquely contribute to the divisional and organisational strategy
You
will develop and lead a highly motivated and empowered workforce to deliver our meaningful life model and to achieve optimum results for all our young people and stakeholders
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will take co-responsibility for delivering the organisations in year business plan. Working collaboratively with your peer group to improve outcomes for the people we support through our innovative model of education and support and to contribute to optimum performance as part of a high performing team.
About You
What do I need?
Experience managing high quality services
Exposure to a complex operational, multi-site business and contract driven business
Proven track record working in social care
Experience in leading and managing teams
Strong financial business acumen
Experience of ensuring tight cost control in a competitive, low margin business
Anything else?
