The Head of Total Rewards will drive the informed continuous improvement around the competitive design of the firm's overall compensation and benefits platform, consistent with Corebridge Financial's compensation philosophy, and with an eye on colleague satisfaction, operational excellence, and cost efficiency. The position will report directly to the Chief HR Officer [CHRO] of Corebridge Financial.
Responsibilities
Ensure the Corebridge total rewards program is internally equitable and externally competitive; Actively participate in compensation surveys and research on trends to ensure the competitiveness of the firm's pay-for-performance program; Partner with appropriate internal stakeholders to define critical compensation and benefits programs requirements and modifications that address the changing needs of evolving colleague demographics; Propose benefit plan enhancements, recommend discontinuances of certain offerings, and drive research on new-to-the-market options, based on colleague needs, the firm's culture, and best practices in the region; Partner with the technology and shared services leadership teams to ensure payroll and benefits transactions are presented and executed with ease, accuracy and timeliness; Work with the communication team to "tell the story" of the firm's toward rewards platform from hire-to-retire; Ensure the firm's employee-value-proposition, employer brand, and total rewards program are consistent and complementary; Partner with internal stakeholders ongoing, around critical internal audit and financial and regulatory controls; Understand, analyze, and relay the impact of current and developing compensation and benefits legislation, regulations on competitiveness, and performance; keep abreast of current issues and trends by attending appropriate meetings and reviewing current literature; Develop Compensation and Benefits Committee presentations for the CHRO; Manage all partnerships with brokers, vendors, and consultants; Lead, attract, retain, and develop a team of high performing colleagues and consultants with diverse perspectives. What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree, HR or a related field preferred. 15+ years of related business experience in a large complex corporate entity. Demonstrated strong, tactical experience in the compensation space. 10+ years' experience in a role of influence with a benefits function Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to interact well with individuals at all levels of management, internal and external Demonstrated learning agility, curiosity of data and information and successful root cause analysis Flexible, comfortable with ambiguity, able to embrace change.
