Responsibilities
• Lead the bar team in the absence of Bar Manager• Assist bartenders and barbacks with education and development• Help create craft cocktails for the cocktail menu• Assist with administrative duties and management roles• Troubleshoot and repair guest issues• Count drawers, split tips, and prepare end of day deposit• Enforce dress code for bar employees• Train new employees• Handle customer service issues• Craft quality and consistent cocktails• Greet guests upon arrival and provide prompt service• Create and improvise to deliver the best products• Operate the Goodfellas App• Ensure compliance with alcoholic regulations and health code• Input data into Manager Log Book• Engage with community and attend local events• Maintain communication with management and shift leads• Submit maintenance needs in a timely manner• Maintain a clean and organized store• Meet with vendors on behalf of Bar Manager• Follow chain of command for any issues• Clean and maintain beer lines and change kegs• Have knowledge of Square POS system• Monitor employees and product to maintain standards• Complete bar orders when Bar Manager is not available• Communicate with management about damages and guest issues• Assist with monthly inventory• Take pride in the bar and team
Requirements
• Greet, direct, and respond to guest's questions and needs• Understand menu offerings, presentation, and pricing• Ensure proper product control and handling of inventory and equipment• Follow cash handling policies and food safety/sanitation guidelines• Minimum of 1 year full-service restaurant experience preferred• Maintain high standards in cleanliness, food quality, and guest satisfaction• Possess business maturity and effective supervision skills• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred• Passion for the business and compassion for people• Highly energetic, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and dependable• Good oral and written communication skills• Outstanding leadership, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills• Basic business math and accounting skills• Strong analytical and decision-making skills• Basic personal computer literacy• Flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends, and holidays• Reliable transportation required
