The individual selected to fill this vacancy will be given a provisional appointment and will be required to participate in the next Civil Service Examination for this title. The employee in this position is primarily responsible for supervising the processing and maintenance of various records and accounts. This employee works under the general supervision of a higher level employee. Performs related work as required. Typical Work Activities Supervises and assigns work to employees performing record and account keeping duties; Processes journal entries submitted for payment; Performs budgetary control functions; Prepares a variety of written and statistical reports; Corresponds with and answers questions from the public and various other City departments; Assists in the preparation of budget estimates for the fiscal period; Prepares data for computer processing and reads printouts. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED PLUS Associates degree in Business Administration or a related field AND three (3) years of experience in record and account keeping; OR Four (4) years experience as described in A.
