Job summary
FiberTel, LLC. is a utility construction company specializing in the installation of fiber optics.They are looking for an HDD Operator in Springville, UT.The role involves setting up and completing drilling underground bore holes and pulling back conduit/pipe.

Responsibilities
• Loading, driving, delivery, and placement of construction materials and equipment.• Locating for Horizontal Directional Drill for installation of underground conduit and fiber optic cable.• Ensuring safety of the public and other utilities underground facilities.• Assisting in potholing and remediation.• Setting hand holes and completing tie-ins.• Reading and comprehending utility locates.• Setting up equipment and performing drilling mud formulation.• Performing proper reaming and pull back methods.• Overseeing laborers and/or crew members work and monitoring time usage.• Cleaning and maintaining equipment, performing inspections, and performing maintenance.
Requirements
• Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check.• Possessing a valid driver's license with a good driving record.• Having basic knowledge of operating utility trucks and equipment safely.• Being able to communicate effectively and work in all weather conditions.• Preferred: previous construction experience and knowledge of HDD Locator/Operator procedures.• Preferred: ability to travel.
