Who we're looking for Toyota's Hazardous Material Compliance Team is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide hazmat transportation guidance and support the implementation of policies, programs, and procedures to drive compliance throughout TMNA. Reporting to the Hazmat Compliance Manager, the person in this role will support the Hazmat and Chemical Compliance team objective to lead compliance activities and the implementation/execution of processes/procedures across NAMCs, Service Part, and other TMNA facilities while incorporating a passion to drive regulatory compliance. What you'll be doing Lead, guide and develop on site Hazmat Coordinators to have functional knowledge of transportation regulatory requirements to support facility operations for assigned Service Parts Distribution, Manufacturing, R&D, Logistics, Cross Dock, AirFlite, Motor Sports, Regional Offices, Toyota Racing Development divisions. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of Hazardous Materials Compliance processes, tools, and standards for all sites within assigned Region. Nemawashi with other Regional Analysts to ensure consistency and standardization. Provide regulatory guidance and support, to protect Team Members, the public, and the Company's reputation by ensuring complex hazardous material regulations are translated into actionable instructions for TMNA operations enterprise wide. Oversee Root Cause and Corrective Action(s) identification / implementation by sites, 3rd parties, and/or supplier/vendors to address regional incident or concerns submitted for correction. Support communication, training, and government actions (State, Federal and International) on compliance matters (Ex special permits, compliance investigations, etc.) Implement standardized hazardous material transportation programs, policies, and training while accounting for variations in service development, parts distribution, vehicle distribution, racing, aviation, manufacturing, engineering, and office operations enterprise wide. Conduct On Site Compliance Audits, or Site Support Visits based on site risk – or identified need(s). Report out on audit findings and work with site HMC to implement countermeasures and mitigation strategies to improve and ensure regulatory compliance enterprise wide. Qualification Section What you bring Advanced Degree / Bachelor's 2+ years in a leadership experience Experience with TMNA R&D and Service Parts operations Ability to read regulations and apply to an operational environment.
