The Grants Manager - FEMA Hazard Mitigation Assistance is an integral part of our Planning Team. Consideration may be made for working remotely from anywhere in the US. The Grants Manager is responsible for providing technical assistance for grant development and management, including: reviewing HMA applications, identifying issues for escalation, conducting procurement and compliance verification, reviewing reimbursement requests and quarterly reports, and providing direct assistance to sub-recipients. AtkinsRéalis has the depth and breadth of expertise to respond to the most technically challenging and time-critical infrastructure projects and the urgent transition to a low- carbon economy.How will you contribute to the team?Conduct project reviews.Provide technical assistance to sub-recipients in the completion of Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) applications.Support Grants Specialists with compilation of documents for grant funding reimbursement requests.Review and record all incoming grants/project-related requests to pass onto Grants Specialist.Enter appropriate grants information into the system of record.Ensure a high level of quality control and accuracy on grants-related documents.Prepare and conduct correspondence.Maintain and reconcile reporting documents.Assist with Planning efforts as needed.What will you contribute?Bachelor's or Master's degree in Planning, Finance, Disaster Management, Economics or related field (years of work experience may replace a college degree).Five years' experience since Bachelor's or four years since Master's.Experience in FEMA or similar federal agency grant administration.Experience in administrative support roles.Experience in managing, organizing and writing.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills.Exceptional research skills.Proficient computer skills: (including MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint; Adobe Acrobat Professional).What we offer at AtkinsRéalis :AtkinsRéalis realizes that health, mental and financial wellbeing, are all equally needed to achieve balance in life.
