Hall Manager

Job summary
The Hall Manager is responsible for student engagement and operation of a residence hall.This is a full-time, professional live-in position.Primary duties include supervising Resident Assistants and Desk Workers.

Responsibilities
• Recruit, select, supervise, and evaluate resident assistants.• Oversee check-in, check-out, and building closing procedures.• Monitor occupancy records and ensure compliance with room change procedures.• Provide counseling and referrals to student support services.• Enforce housing and student conduct policies.• Promote academic and personal development through educational and social opportunities.• Respond to after hours emergencies.• Act as a liaison with campus partners and stakeholders.• Support departmental-wide programming and operational activities.• Facilitate programming within residential halls.• Submit reports for student conduct issues in a timely manner.• Attend professional development trainings and workshops.• Assist with training paraprofessional staff members.• Participate in Divisional and Departmental programming.• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree with one year of housing and residence life experience.• One year of supervisory experience.• Master's degree in Student Personnel or Higher Education preferred.
