Shepard Exposition Services is seeking a Graphic Designer that will produce and design print graphics for trade shows and special events. They must be willing to assist on days, evenings, and weekends. Hours are based on the current workload available.
Essential Job Duties Follow design layout instructions, pay attention to detail, proofread, and work independently Provide quality control and ensure compliance to company structural and graphic standards Work with team members to ensure work is in alignment with client needs Must understand the oversize print production process to ensure design integrity, color accuracy and image quality are met Work with and understand various file types, such as: Vector, PDF, and Raster to prepare files for Print Production team members using digital printers Ensure design integrity, color accuracy and image quality are met Treat all internal and external customers with courtesy and respect, as outlined in the Shepard Blue Diamond Customer Service Program All other duties as assigned Requirements Demonstrate Core Values of Caring, Commitment, Integrity, Spirit, Responsiveness, Inclusive, and Teamwork Ability to perform as a responsible ESOP owner making daily decisions to benefit the client and the company Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COViD-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for employment, if not currently employed by Shepard Exposition Services, Inc. Associates Degree in Graphic Design or 2-3 years (minimum) of experience in oversize or trade show graphics Required experience with the following 2D software programs: Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) Microsoft Office (Word, Excel Outlook, Teams) & WebEx Windows-based design environment Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to work well with groups Ability to work well under pressure and demands Ability to work with minimum supervision and meet deadlines; some night and weekend hours maybe required Ability to adjust designs based on constructive feedback and/or customer requests Possess a can-do attitude and positive nature towards projects and teamwork Shepard is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
