Responsibilities
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing of sponsored project portfolio• Ensure compliance with Uniform Guidance and other sponsor regulations• Serve as liaison between Research Administration and other offices, sponsors, and auditors• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures• Streamline work processes and maintain data integrity• Analyze and maintain General Ledger activity• Prepare accounting reports and fiscal analyses
Requirements
• 3-5 years of experience in financial/accounting, preferably in non-profit• Bachelor's degree in business-related field, MBA preferred• Knowledge of internal controls, GAAP accounting, and government accounting• Familiarity with sponsor regulations and OMB Uniform Guidance• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Excel• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
