The Grant Writer will be responsible for identifying grant opportunities, managing the grant development and proposal processCollaborating with BayMark personnel in the development process of responding to relevant grant opportunities

Responsibilities
• Develop resources and research grant opportunities• Prepare contract proposals and administer major contracts• Assist in monitoring proposal process and ensure compliance with funder's policies• Negotiate contractual provisions with potential partners• Collaborate with team members and develop relationships with key stakeholders• Coordinate pre-award planning and post-award administration of grants• Ensure compliance with regulatory, funding, agency, and policy requirements• Provide guidance and support in identifying and developing grant opportunities• Prepare proposals by determining concept, gathering information, and writing drafts• Meet proposal deadlines and track proposal status
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management, Organizational Management, or related field preferred• Associates degree in creative writing, healthcare management, or related field required• 4 or more years of grant writing experience preferred, preferably in a healthcare environment• Excellent communication skills• Knowledge of fundraising methods and information sources• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapt to shifting priorities• Accuracy, attention to detail, and proficiency with computer systems• Customer service focused and good time management skills• Satisfactory references and criminal background check required
