Graduate Traffic Engineer

Job summary
Pennoni is a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm.They are currently seeking a Graduate Traffic Engineer.The engineer will be responsible for traffic safety improvement projects.
Job seniority: entry level
Responsibilities
• Assist with traffic engineering tasks such as traffic impact analysis, safety evaluations, and signal design.• Prepare signing and pavement marking plans, transportation management plans, and lighting plans.• Review traffic studies for new developments and projects.• Develop maintenance of traffic schemes and construction phasing plans.• Develop project cost estimates and specifications.• Experience with lighting design software is preferred.• Excellent communication skills and experience with technical reports and memorandums.• Participation in professional organizations is a plus.
Requirements
• Experience in traffic engineering is required.• Knowledge of OpenRoads Designer and ProjectWise is a plus.• Experience with Bluebeam PDF editor is a plus.• Ability to develop maintenance of traffic schemes and construction phasing plans.• Experience with lighting design software is preferred.• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.• Ability to prepare technical reports and memorandums.
