Details of the offer

Our Opportunity Are you looking to expand your skills and experience within a growing multi-disciplinary consultancy?
Do you want to work on a diverse range of projects, as part of a collaborative, dynamic and supportive team?
Join us as a Graduate Building Services Engineer where you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting new ventures.
Imagine yourself in the most incredible building in the world. Now take away the lighting, heating and ventilation, the lifts and escalators, acoustics, plumbing, power supply and energy management systems, the security and safety systems. You are left in a cold, dark uninhabitable shell. Building Services Engineers really do "bring buildings to life".
Imagine the air filtration systems you'd need in a clean computer manufacturing facility. The heating controls in a special care baby unit?  The airflow systems needed to control bacteria and humidity in an operating theatre?  What about security systems at an airport?  Lighting the Olympic Stadium?  Coping with a power cut in the dealing room of a City banker? This is everyday work for a Building Services Engineer.

From day one, you'll be working on real projects, giving you understanding of the wide variety of our work and opportunities. From high-profile national projects as part of a large design team, to smaller projects - you'll gain experience of design, sitesurveys, and inspection of engineering construction.  You'll be preparing designs and reports, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time, assisting in management of contracts, and, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders. Our projects span the full breadth of the built environment, providing opportunity to enhance your technical skills and take on client-facing roles, and explore your own skills and interests.
There will be a wide, varied workload and the role will focus ondelivering portfolios of work across the private and public sector; includingeducation, defence, healthcare, pharmaceutical and commercial.Take a look at some of our projects here: Discover our projects - Pick Everard
