Job Description:
As a Construction Project Manager, you'll oversee all facets of construction projects, from managing budgets and schedules to fostering clear communication with clients and vendors. Your professionalism, organizational prowess, and collaborative spirit will be pivotal in driving project success.
Responsibilities:
Manage all contract documentation, including subcontract agreements, change orders, and material purchase orders.
Review and validate vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and adherence to project budgets.
Monitor project financials, tracking planned costs versus actual expenses and job progress versus billed amounts.
Review customer billing requirements outlined in contracts and fulfill them accordingly.
Maintain project file integrity, ensuring all necessary documents are collected and organized.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including accounts payable, subcontractors, and government agencies, as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
5-10 years of experience as a project manager, preferred.
Experience with Federal Government construction contracts is advantageous but not required.
Proficiency in project management software and spreadsheets.
Strong multitasking abilities and exceptional organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with Viewpoint construction management software is a plus.
