Summary This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all golf course equipment and machinery. The areas of responsibility include small engine repair, electrical, hydraulics, welding and preventative maintenance. Responsible for grinding and back lapping of all reels on mowers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Repair and service small engines.Operation and maintenance of all mowers and tractors.Service all resort vehicles.Supply list of all supplies, parts, safety equipment etc. for superintendent.Keep service records on all equipment and vehiclesInventory and maintenance of all tools.Grind and maintain all mower reels.Other duties may be assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of small engine repairs and tune-ups, such as Kohler, 16hp.Ability to do welding repairs and fabrication.Familiar with the mechanics of hydraulic systems and repair to such systems.Knowledge and ability to work with a minimum of supervision. Qualifications Current valid Arizona Driver's License.Must be COVID-19 vaccinated or must obtain prior to the completion of the first 120-day training period. Education and/or Experience Associates degree in related field is preferred, completion of trade school, professional or technical certification, specialized training6-months specialized work experience, 3-years work experience in related field or 2-years supervisory work experienceWelding experience preferred.Experience with hydraulics, electric and operation of general mechanic tools and test equipment.
