We are committed to a safe work environment sending every person home safe and healthy every day and leaving a sustainable legacy on our host communities.Responsibilities:Reporting to an Open Pit Maintenance Supervisor, the Open Pit Maintenance Technician is responsible for the following.Complete routine maintenance activities for the purpose of ensuring the availability and safe functioning of large mining, support equipment fleets Maintain shop areas, tooling and service vehicles to ensure a clean and safe work environment Perform daily pre-shift work inspections and participate in individual and group hazard identification processes Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:Two (2) plus years of experience in maintenance of mobile, farm, trucking, aircraft, military or support equipment preferred Basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics required Ability to work safely and effectively with minimal supervision required Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people required Experience handling tires preferred Ability to accomplish strenuous physical labor under all weather conditions required Lift at least 50 lbs. required Proven safe work record with belief and value seen in courageous leadership model required Ability to be an initial team member in a growing, fast paced environment, and support team in attainment of safety, environmental, equipment protection and production goals with a proven safety record required Housekeeping standards are maintained to a high level required Good written and verbal communication skills required What We Can Offer YouA comprehensive compensation package including a competitive medical, dental, and vision plan with national provider networks, a 401k retirement plan with employer contribution AND employer match, paid time off, company-sponsored medical clinics, company match share purchase program, and much more!
